Petroleum products import ban Country: Russia Entered into force: March 10, 2022 The Government of Canada has banned imports of specific petroleum products from Russia, including crude oil. Canada does not currently import any crude oil from Russia, and has not since 2019. The new ban will ensure this remains the case going forward.
